The problem: good data took too much time
Aditech has been using Bullhorn as its ATS for years. It’s a powerful system, but as always: the quality of your data is only as good as the people entering it. And that data entry? It was taking staff far too much time.
Client company details were entered into the ATS manually. Candidates sent information via email or phone, after which someone still had to input it. Part of the problem was also a lack of clarity regarding what was truly necessary. Staff diligently filled in what they could, but without clear guidelines on which fields took priority, data quality varied from profile to profile.
"We wanted to start with the right company data as the foundation of our commercial process," says Robbie Klein Heerenbrink from the management team. "But we noticed that this information was often not entered completely."
The solution: Minggo tackles the problem at the source
Aditech got to work with Minggo and created three targeted solutions that together make all the difference:
1. KVK- checker: company data in one click
Minggo's company registration checker automatically retrieves all company information from the official business database and loads it directly into Bullhorn. The recruiter simply enters the company registration number in Bullhorn, and all relevant company details are automatically populated in the client profile.
No more manual retyping, no more errors due to human mistakes. "As a result, we have far fewer errors and always have up-to-date client information in Bullhorn," says Robbie.
2. Data Quality Widget: how complete are the client and candidate records
To give employees better insight into the quality of their data, a Data Quality Widget was added to Bullhorn.
The widget shows directly within the ATS how complete a candidate, client, or placement record is. This allows recruiters to see exactly what information is still missing and which fields are essential to complete a profile.
3. Profile enrichment: candidates fill it in themselves
In addition to better company data, Aditech also wanted to make collecting candidate data more efficient. Candidates often sent information via email or phone, which recruiters then had to process manually.
Using Minggo's profile enrichment, Aditech sends candidates a personal link to update their own details. It’s simple for the candidate, time-saving for the recruiter — and the data goes straight into Bullhorn correctly.
"You press a button and the candidate receives a link," explains Robbie. "That actually always works well."
Thanks to this solution, recruiters spend less time on administrative tasks and candidate profiles stay better up to date.
